SERVE Project Residential Grant Scheme - Phase 3 (Energy Efficiency and Renewable Grants)
The SERVE Project Residential Grant Scheme - Phase 3 has opened for 2010. The SERVE Project aims to develop a sustainable region in North Tipperary through the implementation of actions in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Under the EU funded SERVE Project (Sustainable Energy in the Rural Environment) North Tipperary County Council will be administering a Grant Scheme supporting energy efficiency (Wall and Attic Insulation and Heating Controls) and renewable energy measures (Wood Stoves, Wood Heating Systems and Solar Thermal Systems) . Community, Sports & Cultural Grant Scheme
The Community, Sport & Cultural Grants Scheme established by the North Tipperary Local Authorities provides financial assistance to community based clubs and voluntary organisations for the development of sporting, recreational, environmental and cultural facilities in their areas. The scheme is funded through the Community Development Levy.
The scheme provides Technical and Capital Assistance.
The Technical Assistance fund permits community based clubs or voluntary organisations to apply for financial assistance towards the cost of preparing a development plan or feasibility study.
Capital Assistance is available to new projects or refurbishment of existing facilities. Priority will be given to projects, which combat social exclusion or marginalisation.
