County Development Plan - Introduction
1.2 The purpose of this Plan
The County Development Plan concerns the relationship between the citizen and land-use in the County. This Plan will affect all those who live in North Tipperary or have an interest in its development. This Plan puts forward a vision for the future development of the County, and secondly presents the Council's strategy for the proper planning and sustainable development for the County for the period 2004-2010. Proposals that run contrary to the policies in the Plan will be permitted only in exceptional circumstances.
