Tidy Towns Grants Scheme

The Tidy Towns Grant Scheme has proved to be a very positive initiative since its introduction in 2002 and aims to reward and assist the good work carried out by Tidy Towns/Village Groups in North Tipperary.

Applicants must be a recognised Community Group involved in activities to enhance and improve the appearance of their local community and all applicants must submit a one page Action Plan for their area. Grant Assistance will be at the rate of 75% of eligible costs.  The remaining 25% must be provided by the group in the form of cash receipts or voluntary labour. Groups within the administrative areas of Nenagh, Templemore or Thurles Town Council are not eligible for this competition and should contact their local Town Council for information on any available grant assistance.

The Tidy Towns Grants Scheme 2011 is closed for applications for 2011.  Tidy Towns Grant Scheme 2012 will be launched in April 2012
