Temporary closing of the N52 road from Borrisokane to Ballingarry 

Duration of closure:  4th October, 2010 to 1st November, 2010

Reason for the closure: to facilitate remedial works to damaged sections of the n52 borrisokane to ballingarry 

Alternative routes: 

• via r489 (birr -portumna) and r438 (athlone-borrisokane road) and n65 (borrisokane-portumna)
• all diversions including local diversions via aglish and cloughjordan will be clearly signposted.
• local access will be facilitated.

Temporary closing of the R504 Newport to Birdhill due to road resurfacing work

Duration of closure:  30th August, 2010 to 4th September, 2010

Reason for the closure: To facilitate remedial works to damaged sections of the R504 Newport to Birdhill regional road.

Alternative routes:
From Birdhill via. the N7 Nenagh to Limerick National Primary Road to Finnegans Roundabout at Lisnagry and via. the R503 Limerick to Thurles Regional Road to Newport.

Diversions will be clearly signposted.

Any person may lodge an objection in writing with the North Tipperary County Council Roads Section, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh not later than 12 noon on 12th August, 2010.
