Road Closure

 

North Tipperary County Council wishes to announce that the road from Currabaha Cross to Templederry Village will be closed from Monday 8^th March to Friday 12^th March (both dates inclusive) to carry out emergency road repairs.

 

Diversions will be in place via the R498 Thurles to Nenagh road and via the road from the junction at Latteragh to Templederry Village.  Local access will be maintained at all times.

 

North Tipperary County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.

 

 

Manned Water Stations

From Saturday 16^th January manned water stations will be provided in the following areas from 10am to 4pm.

 

Roscrea: -  Ard na Greine, Gleann Glas

Cloughjordan : - Main Street

Borrisokane: - Main Street

 

Warning for Lakes and Rivers

Do not treat frozen lakes and rivers as play areas. These are extremely hazardous. Do not walk or drive on the surface of frozen water bodies. Avoid tying up the resources of the emergency services in dealing with rescue situations where these can be avoided by use of common sense
